This playful sibling duo engages a wide range of children by showing a very first “happy visit” and a routine check-up.

I am committed to making this book accessible to all children including those who struggle with reading, vision loss, or are deaf or hard of hearing.
With the collaboration of Imagination Storybooks, My Dental Debut, will be created as an Audiobook with rich visual descriptions of pictures for children with vision loss and as a Videobook with captions and American Sign Language for children with hearing loss.
Meet the author
Hi! I’m Alyssa
As a traveling dental hygienist turned mom and author, I’ve spent over 12 years working to prevent dental diseases and creating positive dental experiences for children around the world.
Through my work in dental offices, mobile bus clinics, hospitals, and pop-up dental clinics, as well as teaching in schools, orphanages, and within my own home, I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound impact a positive dental experience can have on a child’s dental health trajectory.
I created the Tiny Teeth Books collection to help children feel prepared, not scared, for common dental experiences so they can avoid the vicious cycle of dental anxiety and enjoy a lifetime of oral health!
